Install the CAPIT Chat and Chatbot WordPress plugin
CAPIT Conversations · 1.0.0 · WordPress 6.4+ · PHP 7.4+
1. Install the plugin
Download the ZIP, then open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin in WordPress. Select the ZIP and activate CAPIT Conversations.
2. Configure CAPIT
Open the CAPIT console for the service you need. Create or select a workspace and allow the exact HTTPS origin of your WordPress page, including www if used.
3. Copy the public ID
From the console integration code, copy only the tenant parameter value: a public 36-character UUID. Never copy an API key or SSO secret.
4. Save WordPress settings
Under Settings → CAPIT Chat & Chatbot, enter the Chat and/or Chatbot workspace IDs, language and height, then save. Both services can use the same workspace or different ones.
5. Insert shortcodes
Add a Shortcode block to your page: [capit_chat] for human conversations, [capit_chatbot] for the AI assistant. Both can appear on one page.
6. Test the page
Publish and click Open chat or Open chatbot. Check desktop and mobile. No CAPIT service loads before this click; WordPress users are not automatically signed in.
Chat needs guest access. Chatbot needs public sources and an active AI plan with credits. WordPress accounts are not automatically signed in.
